Trevali adquiere la propiedad total del depósito Ruttan, en Manitoba

Resumen: Trevali Mining Corporation (TV) ha realizado el pago final para adquirir una participación del 100% en el depósito de Ruttan, al norte de Manitoba, Canadá.

El depósito Ruttan contiene una amplia reserva de recursos, con una ley de cobre de 1.17% y una ley de zinc de 1.47% (510 millones de libras de cobre y 640 millones de libras de zinc); además, se mantiene abierta para la expansión de la profundidad, bajo trabajos previos.

Según la empresa, el depósito Ruttan y la región inexplorada de las inmediaciones tienen un excelente potencial de exploración. Asimismo, la empresa destaca que la mayoría de la infraestructura de la antigua mina permanece en su lugar, como el centro de manejo de relaves, planta de tratamiento de agua, fuentes de energía y vías de transporte (ferrocarril/carretera); así como la ciudad de Leaf Rapids, que fue construida para dar servicio a la antigua mina. Todo esto resulta beneficioso para los objetivos de la empresa.



Trevali Acquires 100% Ownership of the Ruttan Copper Deposit, Manitoba

The Ruttan deposit contains a NI-43-101 compliant inferred resource of 19.75 million tonnes of 1.17% Cu, 1.47% Zn* (510 million lbs of copper and 640 million lbs of zinc contained) and remains open for expansion to depth, beneath previous mine workings, and in the hanging and footwall zones (Figure 1).

Geologically large to giant Volcanic Massive Sulphide (VMS) deposits such as Ruttan rarely occur in isolation, they typically form camps or clusters of deposits -consequently based on targeting and prospectivity analysis conducted to date, the Company believes that the Ruttan deposit and immediate underexplored region holds good to excellent exploration potential The majority of the former mine infrastructure remains in place including tailings management facility, water treatment plant, power, road / rail and the town of Leaf Rapids that was built to service the former mine.
